Our Cashmere
Cashmere is a natural fibre, which comes from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats. The amazing properties of cashmere make it synonymous with luxury. It is breathable and insulating. It is far warmer than sheep's wool, but also adapts to your body temperature, meaning it can be comfortably worn all year round. Naturally antibacterial and odour resistant (it requires far less washing compared to synthetic garments), cashmere is comfortable to wear and itch free, making it more luxurious and desirable than sheep's wool.
Our cashmere knitwear and scarves are manufactured in Nepal. We work with a family run factory that has a vertically integrated supply chain. They source the finest cashmere directly from the farmers in Inner Mongolia, cutting out the middle man and ensuring a fair price is paid to the farmers themselves. We have chosen the factory that we work with due to its values for ethical and sustainable production, which align with our own brand values. This is the only way to control the quality of cashmere produced and ensure fair and ethical practices for all involved in the supply chain.
Our factory is involved in every part of the production and manufacturing process. All the cashmere yarn is certified by SGS in Switzerland. The factory has a sustainable and ethical production process and only uses certified dyes to ensure they are not harmful to the environment.
